Beth is responsible
for the overall management of VOLUNTEER Hampton
Roads, including board support and leadership,
community relations, financial management, fund
development and human resources. Beth is a dynamic
facilitator and motivation speaker on a variety of
topics, such as board governance, corporate
partnerships, strategic planning and volunteerism.
Presentations have included local, state, national
and abroad in Romania through a USAID grant. Beth
received both a Bachelor of Science in Criminal
Justice and a Master of Public Administration from
Old Dominion University and is a graduate of CIVIC
Leadership Institute and Leadership of Hampton
Roads.

Vanessa provides
training and technical assistance for VOLUNTEER
Hampton Roads’ nonprofit members. She coordinates
and directs the Nonprofit Leadership Development
Center including classes, forums, the Nonprofit
Resource Library and the Hampton Roads Institute for
Nonprofit Leadership Conference. Additionally,
Vanessa provides technical support and customized
training for nonprofits and their board. She
is also responsible for the organization's
technology initiatives and assists with personnel
management. Vanessa received a
Bachelor of Science in Educational Leadership and
Human Services-Counseling with a minor in Sociology
from Old Dominion University and a Master of
Education in Adult Learning-Human Resources
Development from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Amber provides membership support to the nonprofit
and corporate members of VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads.
She also oversees the Hampton Roads Corporate
Volunteer Council and its Annual Meeting and
Corporate Volunteer Excellence Awards, produces the
annual Nonprofit Resource Directory and serves as
webmaster and the communications contact for the
organization. Amber received a Bachelor of Science
in Public Relations from Virginia Commonwealth
University and a Master of Business Administration
from Old Dominion University.
Development Associate, Victoria L. Wallace --

Victoria serves as VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads’
Development Associate. She conducts grant research
and writing, produces the bi-annual newsletter and
oversees the Hampton Roads Volunteer Achievement
Awards and Hot Latin Nights Auction for the
organization. Victoria received a Bachelor of Arts
in Religious Studies from William & Mary and is
currently earning a Master in Public Administration
from Old Dominion University.
Volunteer Coordinator, Amy E. Newton --

Amy assists VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads’ nonprofit
members with their volunteer needs. She handles all
volunteer inquiries, the HandsOn Monthly calendar,
Volunteer Connection, Team Works and oversees the
Seasons of Service Days (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Global Youth Service Day and Family
Volunteer Day). Amy received a Bachelor of Arts in
Art History with a minor in History from the
University of Virginia and is currently earning a
Master in Public Administration from Old Dominion
University. |
