Volunteer Work Day
Volunteers are invited to Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve in Portsmouth, VA every second Saturday of the month to assist in trail clearing, general preserve maintenance and special projects as required. Groups are welcome.
All participants should wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Most activities will take place outdoors so please take the weather forecast into account and dress appropriately. Participation may also place some individuals in contact with mosquitoes, poison ivy, or other irritants natural to the woods. Individuals with special sensitivities should take extra precautions like wearing long sleeves.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 8+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
