Invasive Plant Removal Day
We're looking for a few good volunteers to help us remove non-native invasive plants from the preserve. With the support of the Virginia Department of Forestry we've got some new supplies and need your support to get the job done. We'll spend the day focusing on the removal of English ivy and privet. Join us as an individual or with your favorite service oriented group. Check-in will occur at our headquarters on the day of the event. Participants will need to wear long sleeves and pants, as well as sturdy shoes or boots.
