PETA Volunteer Party
Ain't no party like a PETA (volunteer) Party!
Did you know that every PETA literature packet is hand-made (with love) by one of our dedicated staff, interns, or volunteers? Every week our incredible Literature department puts together and mails out thousands of pieces of life-saving literature requested by our amazing activists from around the world! That's a whole lot of sticker tearing, letter folding, and envelope stuffing! Putting together all those packs requires a lot of work and we can use all the help we can get. That's where PETA Volunteer Party, and YOU, help save the day! Every Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., PETA staff, interns, volunteers, and activists transform PETA's James Cromwell Room (JCR) into literature packing central. On any given night our volunteers can crank out over 2,000 literature packs!
Why the "party"? Would you expect anything less from the organization that is constantly pushing the envelope (pun intended) in the animal rights world with our creative and eye-catching campaigns? PETA's Volunteer Party combines envelope stuffing with a social atmosphere and vegan snacks in an effort to help animals and have a good time. Come add a little excitement to your Thursday night by helping animals at PETA Volunteer Party!
