Here for the Girls 10K, 5K, and 1 mile Fun Run
Dear Friends in the Community,
Join Us on Saturday, October 13 for our annual Run for the Hills event! Here for the Girls, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) organization that serves women (under 51) affected by breast cancer, is in the process of planning our annual signature event that helps fund our mission and positively impacts the lives of our women. The purpose of this email is to humbly request your presence at our Charity Run which hosts over 600 people.
The Run for the Hills Charity 10K, 5K, and one mile fun run is an annual signature event hosted by Here for the Girls, Inc. The day is filled with over 600 people running or walking for the “health of it” or just here to have fun. Part of the fun is the Fall Fest for the kids with face painting and balloon twists and we would love your help for a couple of hours (9-12)! If this is something you may be interested in, please check out our sign up sheet.
Through our signature events, such as the Run, we help make a difference in the lives of young women by encouraging them to live beyond their diagnoses and discover a new fabulous. Within the next year, plans are set for the expansion of both programs by establishing new in-person support groups and the development of a virtual facilitator program that will allow our services to reach more women across the entire country.
