Charity Book Sale - Volunteers needed! NORFOLK
Book Exchange in Norfolk is hosting their monthly Charity Sale, this time benefiting ForKids, and we need volunteers to help make it a success!!
Who: We’re looking for a minimum of 5 volunteers for each shift, but the more, the merrier!
What: We need volunteers to help set up the Charity Sale, and volunteers to help clean up the sale when it’s over! Duties will include setting up/breaking down tables and moving boxes; these boxes are approximately 50 lbs so some heavy lifting is required. Hand trucks and dollies will be provided!
When: Setup: Friday June 22nd, 5:30pm, for approximately one to two hours.
Break Down: Sunday June 24th, 5:00pm, for approximately one to two hours.
Where: Book Exchange, 116 E. Little Creek Rd., Norfolk, VA 23505, Norfolk, VA.
Why: It’s for a good cause! The proceeds from the book sale will benefit ForKids, one of the largest providers for homeless families in Virginia, touching over 47,500 lives annually through holistic housing programs and extended services for families.
