Transportation Volunteer

Children's Assistive Technology Service (CATS) needs volunteers with medium to large size vehicles (i.e. SUV, mini van, van or pick up truck) to transport refurbished/clean donated adaptive equipment to and from CATS storage.   CATS storage is located at Public Storage at 35th Street and Hampton Blvd in Norfolk, not far from ODU.   CATS pick up location is at the Children's Medical Tower-Adaptive Seating Clinic  at 400 Gresham Dr. in Norfolk on the campus of CHKD/Sentara and EVMS>   Presently, we are moving newly donated equipment into storage once a week and can be done on the volunteer's schedule.   We pick up one or two pieces from storage 1 to 3 times a week as needed presently to be given out to a child/family- sometimes there is a time that we will need it by based on the child's needs.
