VBStrong: Signs of Strength - Lidl - Edison Road
VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads is kicking off a campaign to bring our community together called VBStrong: Signs of Strength. We will have 12 signs (each will be 12 feet long) to represent the 12 victims who lost their life at the Virginia Beach Municipal shooting. Each blank sign/banner will be hosted by a business for one day. The public will be encouraged to visit one location and leave messages of tribute, hope, love, hurt, support, etc. Each sign will be staffed with volunteers to assist those who want to write a message and to watch over the sign (as well as transport it). We will communicate directly with volunteers after they have signed up concerning specific location at the site. We will also email detailed instructions about the event, point of contact at the site, etc.
