Focus on Feathers Program
During the month of March, Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve will host a "Focus on Feathers" program every Saturday and Sunday. The program will consist of various bird related games and activities set up along the Kid's Trail. In order for visitors to get the most out of this program, volunteers will be stationed along the trail to provide guidance and information to those who may need it. More information about the games and activities will be provided prior to your volunteer shift.
Qualified volunteers will have birding knowledge, experience interacting with kids and families, communication skills, and an interest in nature. Volunteer shifts will be from 10am-1pm and from 1pm-4pm each Saturday and Sunday in March. HCWF values the health and safety of all volunteers and visitors, therefore any guidelines related to COVID-19 that are in place during the span of this program will be enforced.
