Disaster Cycle Responder
Volunteers are needed to respond throughout the Eastern Virginia Region to assist families and individuals who have been affected by small and large disasters, to include home fires, flooding, wind damage, etc.
Opportunities are available daily throughout the year as well as during large incidents such as hurricanes, tornadoes and winter storms. All training is provided by the local American Red Cross. Responders are needed in the Southside area (Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Portsmouth, Chesapeake/Suffolk), the Pensinsula, Northern Neck and Central Virginia (Richmond/Fredericksburg and surrounding areas).
