Community Trauma Informed Care Volunteer
Position: Volunteer Community TIC Committee Member
Date: April 2016
Time Commitment: 6 mos. or more; 2-4 hours/month.
DUTIES: As a volunteer community member of the Trauma Informed Care (TIC) Committee, and within the limitations of agency policy, the incumbent shall:
Attend monthly TIC meetings.
Provide honest feedback regarding The Up Center’s provision of trauma-informed care.
Assist with the development of TIC policies in collaboration with other TIC committee members.
Assist in the development of Up Center TIC training opportunities in collaboration with other TIC committee members.
Attend TIC Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) team meetings quarterly.
Must have received services from one or more Up Center programs within the past 12 months.
Individuals may not be eligible for this position during the time they are receiving services from The Up Center depending upon the nature of the service being received.
Must have a high level of commitment to promoting the implementation of Trauma Informed Care policies and the creation of The Up Center’s Trauma Informed Care culture.
Must be willing to provide honest feedback and work collaboratively with other committee members.
