Volunteer Grant Coordinator
The LIFT Fitness Foundation Coordinator(“LIFT”) Grant is responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to grant-making organizations. This person will persuasively communicate LIFT’s mission and programs to potential funders. The Grant Coordinator will assemble and submit grant requests, establish and maintain personal contact and relationships with granter contacts, conduct prospect research, and maintain a calendar of submissions and other deadlines.
The Grant Coordinator will work as a team with the Board of Directors, Executive Director and Program Coordinator. This position requires someone who has excellent research, writing, and communication skills, is self-motivated, reliable, organized, thorough and timely. This is a volunteer position and is very flexible and can be done via telecommuting. -- The LIFT Fitness Foundation helps those in need feel like they are a part of something, to be accountable to someone and most importantly, prove to themselves that they can overcome resistance, push past obstacles and make better choices which in turn, improves their overall life.
