Tutors Needed
Volunteer tutors are needed to assist students in the Sail Nauticus Academy. Tutors will cover a variety of subjects. Lifeguard experience is a plus though not required.
The Sail Nauticus Academy is the flagship program of Sail Nauticus. The Sail Nauticus Academy provides a life-changing experience for underserved youth in our local community. Through a partnership with Norfolk Public Schools, students are given the opportunity to earn school credit while participating in a program that promotes math and science skills, character development, and leadership.
Tutors are needed Monday - Thursday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Participating students are in the 6th & 7th grades
A background check will be required at no cost to the volunteer and parking fees are comp'd.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
