 Youth Garden Mentor & Community Garden Volunteer

RESET INC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Garden Mentor to support our youth and community engagement efforts through gardening, wellness, and hands-on learning opportunities.

We are looking for an individual with experience in:

  • Gardening and community gardens
  • Starter gardens and seasonal planting
  • Working with youth and mentoring young people
  • Teaching basic gardening and sustainability skills

This volunteer opportunity takes place once per month and will involve helping youth learn about gardening, healthy food access, environmental stewardship, and teamwork in a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with planning and maintaining starter gardens
  • Teaching youth basic gardening techniques
  • Supporting youth engagement and mentorship activities
  • Encouraging healthy habits and community involvement
  • Helping create safe, welcoming outdoor learning spaces
