Stephanie Gorham, Executive Director
Stephanie received her Bachelor's Degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She is a seasoned nonprofit development professional with more than 15 years' experience working for various nonprofits in the Texas area and most recently served as the Development Officer supporting the Tidewater Community College Foundation. During her time at TCC, Stephanie raised funds in support of numerous scholarships, student leadership programs and needed equipment for student programs. She began her career in Texas where she served as the Vice President of Resource Development for the United Way of North Texas and the Director of Development for CASA of Red River, Texas. Stephanie resides in Chesapeake with her husband Jim Gorham, a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy, and their four kids, Kaitlyn, Greyson, Lily, and Sally.
Olga González Nichols, Deputy Director
Olga González Nichols has worked in operations for non-profits for 15 years in database administration, donor relations, volunteer management, and overall fundraising operations. She comes to VHR from most recently from Tidewater Community College where she served at the Educational Foundation managing fundraising operations. Olga is originally from Costa Rica and a recent New York transplant to Hampton Roads. She holds a B.S. in Journalism from John Brown University, and also works as a freelance translator and interpreter.
Lexie Martinez, Program Associate
As Programs Associate, Lexie Martinez supports Volunteer Hampton Roads’ HandsOn Connect and VolunTier Vision programs. Ms. Martinez works on Volunteer Hampton Roads Marketing and Public Relations for the various programs and events. She has been involved with Volunteer Hampton Roads since November 2017 when she started as a Public Relations and Marketing Intern.
Katrina Ardan, Development Associate
Katrina Ardan works as VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads Development Associate. Ms. Ardan worked at Tidewater Community College for four years most recently as the Information Desk Supervisor. She is interested in leadership development and currently co-facilitates the Gear Up To Lead leadership program at Tidewater Community College's Chesapeake Campus. Ms. Ardan lives in Chesapeake with her brother Chris, sister-in-law Tia, and Niece Zerrin.
