Volunteer for our 12th anniversary celebration
Help us celebrate 12 years of 'giving light to those who serve' by giving back!
Join us beginning at 2:30 p.m. for this family-friendly, casual celebration, happening outdoors at our Nature Center from 3:00-8:00 p.m.
In this role, you'll support one - or a few - of our many activities, including visits with our goats and other animals, pumpkin carving, hayrides and face painting. This event is for families of our organization and the people who support Hero Kids Foundation, where we'll also unveil our 'Trail of Heroes: a 3/4 mile nature trail made for adventurers of all mobilities.
Comfortable walking shoes are a must, as is clothing you don't mind wearing outdoors [and visiting farm animals in]! Bug spray and a coat or jacket are encouraged. Volunteer t-shirts will be provided.
