In the aftermath of the Virginia Beach tragedy that took place on May 31, 2019, volunteers from all over the world reached out to VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads looking for ways to support those affected and the community at large. Over 1,000 volunteers registered with VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads and over 400 mental health professionals, spiritual care counselors, and therapy dog handlers were deployed to support our community.
This spirit of service that lives in the 757 continues to honor those we lost and all who were impacted by the tragedy. Join VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads after taking the Pledge to Serve and register to volunteer through one of the links above.
