Tuesday Literacy Tutor Assistant
This volunteer position will be utilized primarily to assist the Group Home tutor provide literacy activities to help youth improve reading levels and increase interest in reading. The Group Home tutor will prepare small group lesson plans and activities in order to break the youth into small groups for more invidiualized attention. We are asking for a 6 month commitment for volunteers (or through the end of the current school year). While temporary absences (for vacations, etc.) are acceptable, sporadic attendance would be detrimental to the youth.
