Animal Resources of Tidewater - Medical Fund Volunteer (testimonials)
Animal Resources of Tidewater (ART) provides veterinary care to beloved pets when the pet guardian cannot afford vital care. Every month ART spends approximately $6,000 to treat a variety of cases – broken leg, surgery for a foreign obstruction, dental disease, etc. This intervention prevents suffering and often prevents euthanasia or the pet being surrendered to a local shelter where euthanasia is likely.
A volunteer is needed to follow up with the families whose pets have been served. The volunteer will gather testimonials about the difference ART made for pets and owners. In some cases testimonials can be gathered by phone or electronically (e.g., email, text message). Where possible, it is ideal to gather simple, short video testimonials on the volunteer’s phone or personal device. Testimonials will be shared via ART social media accounts.
The volunteer should have good verbal and written skills and be reasonably adept at taking videos on their phone or personal device.
