Big Turkey Burn 5k Turkey Trot
Come out and be a part of the fun by volunteering at the inaugural Billsburg Big Turkey Burn 5K Saturday, November 30!
Conclude your Thanksgiving holiday with Mettle Events and Billsburg Brewery for a fun 5K in historic Jamestown followed by a great post race party including food, entertainment and some of our signature beers. This will be a fun, family oriented (dogs too!) event at Billsburg Brewery just outside of historic Jamestown settlement.
We need many volunteers to participate for this event to be a true success! All volunteers who support the Big Turkey Burn 5k will receive appreciation, and thanks from all the athletes, the charity partners, an official T-Shirt*, a Goodie Bag*, One Free Admission to Post-Race Party, and can opt to receive a personalized letter documenting their community service hours.
Therefore, if you, or someone you know (groups welcomed) need community service hours, please consider volunteering for one, or all, of our events. We have other volunteer opportunities throughout the year where we could use your help!
