5th Annual Oyster Roast
Nauticus will be hosting our 5th Annual Oyster Roast presented by sail Nauticus on Saturday, October 12, 2019! We are looking for volunteers to help with the following:
Event Set Up: Volunteers to help set up tables, chairs, games, tents, etc
-2 Volunteers from 9:00 am – 11:00 pm
Check in Volunteers: These volunteers will aid the station captain in checking in guest, checking IDs of people who appear under the age of 40, give out wrist bands, sell raffle and drink tickets. Assist with set up / breakdown.
-2 Volunteers from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
-2 Volunteers from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Oyster Shuckers: Volunteers who can help the Oyster team captain in preparing, cooking, shucking, and serving oysters to guest. Also assist with set up / break down
-9 Volunteers from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Beer and Wine Pourers: Volunteers who can manage the bar, take drink tickets, pour drinks and help keep the area clean. Also Assist with set up / break down. (Must be 21 years old)
-2 Volunteers from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
-2 Volunteers from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Recycling Team and Bussers: Volunteers to buss tables for trash, ensure that materials are being recycled in appropriate containers, and that oyster shells are being deposited into Chesapeake Bay Foundation bins. Also helping to keep the pavilion clean and tidy.
-2 Volunteers from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Games/ Smores/ Pumpkin Carving Station: Volunteers to help oversee game stations, pumpkin caving area, and smore station ensuring each place is stocked with supplies.
-3 Volunteers from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
