Hair of the DoG 5k & Children’s Run
Come out and be a part of the Hair of the DoG 5k & Children's Run, Wednesday, January 1, 2020!
Come join us for the 14th annual Hair of the DoG 5k & Children's Run. This New Year's Day race has a little something for everyone with a competitive 5k race, 5k walking category, fun and festive formal wear race division (pajamas allowed), and a weight challenge division. Come on out and celebrate your New Year with us!
Hair of the DoG 5k & Children's Run is on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, packet pick up and late registration opens at 8:30 AM with the race starting at 10:00 AM -volunteer opportunities starting at 7:00 AM.
We need many volunteers to participate for this event to be a true success! All volunteers who support the Hair of the DoG 5k will receive appreciation, and thanks from all the athletes, the charity partners, a free race premium*, a goodie bag*, as well as being able to attend a very fun post-race party, and can opt to receive a personalized letter documenting their community service hours.
If you, or someone you know (groups welcomed), need community service hours, please consider volunteering for one, or all, of our events. We have other volunteer opportunities throughout the year where we could use your help!
