Civitan Acres Summer Camp Prep: Sat. May 2nd
Join us at our Civitan Acres property in Chesapeake, VA to help “open” up the property for our summer season!
We will have three different Saturdays this spring where we get out and spruce up our camp.
There's lots to do and will need all the help you can give, so sign up today and get ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work; the campers are depending on us to make it the best summer season yet!
Civitan Acres Summer Vacation Program has been operating for 22 years. This unique program provides 8 fun-filled weeks of activities for participants of varying abilities. From trips to Kings Dominion to days at the beach – from afternoons by the pool to excursions to the aquarium and for ice cream, our participants enjoy a wide array of activities in an overnight setting that is a true “camp” experience!
May 2nd 9am to 1pm
Clean up sensory room (clean floors, walls, beds, mattresses)
Clean out cabins (take things to the storage unit and properly store all items, dispose of broken items, clean, mop floors, walls, sinks)
Clean and paint beds that need to be covered up.
Clean mattress (clean all mattress with Clorox and water).
Set up cabins (set beds, and mattresses up in dorms)
Pressure wash showers and rest room (clean all areas of the rest room power wash walls in showers, hang up new curtains for shower area)
*ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED*
