The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society- Pennies for Patients Volunteer
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is looking for 2-4 volunteers to assist with our Pennies for Patients Program in Hampton Roads. The volunteer(s) will be needed to assist throughout the school year as needed picking up donations in the form of large amounts of change from various schools in Hampton Roads and depositing at a nearby CoinStar. We may also need assistance with drop off/pick up of campaign items to and from these schools and the LLS office, located in downtown Norfolk. Schools may be located anywhere in the Hampton Roads area, including Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Hampton, Newport News, and York County. Volunteer(s) must have partial or full availability during regular public school hours. Volunteer(s) will be background checked by LLS and will be trained by LLS staff on our proper money handling protocol. Interested volunteers please email Rosalie Cole at Rosalie.cole@lls.org
