Drivers to deliver meals to seniors in Newport News, Hampton, and Poquoson
The Peninsula Agency on Aging is seeking caring, out-going volunteers to deliver meals to homebound seniors in Newport News, Hampton, and Poquoson.
Drivers needed Monday through Friday 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
A typical meal route takes approximately one hour to deliver. House to house directions are provided.
Volunteers must complete a short volunteer profile and PAA provides a volunteer handbook and a short orientation for all volunteers. You can volunteer as an individual or as a group. Volunteer once a week, every other week, once a month, or in whatever time that you can spare. Our seniors love our volunteers! Not only do you deliver a hot, nutritious meal but a friendly smile and a daily safety check for our seniors.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
