Food Pantry Volunteers Needed
Village Family, in collaboration with community partners, is distributing bags of groceries in the parking lot of First New Kindling Church. We need volunteers to assist in loading supplies, sorting through the donations, and helping to organize everything being distributed to those in need. Volunteers are also needed for unloading, storing, and breaking down boxes, and organizing and sorting pantry items. This volunteer activity does require a lot of repetitive lifting of boxes that weigh about 25 lbs.
As always, please only volunteer if you are healthy. Bring your mask, be sure to wear close-toed shoes, and dress for the weather, as most of what we do occurs outside.
