Event preparation for National Volunteer Week
We need your help to celebrate National Volunteer Week and honor exceptional volunteers in Hampton Roads on the week of April 19-23. Dozens of volunteers working on projects in Hampton Roads that week need specific supplies for their work. Here is where we need your help preparing supply packages for each site.
Tasks include:
- Counting and sorting items for kits
- Sorting and packaging t-shirts
- Packaging supplies by project
- Making confirmation calls
- General help
If you have a couple of hours to spare, we can use your help! Please note social distancing will be observed, and masks will be required at all times. If you have a fever or have lost your sense of smell or feel sick in any way, please stay home and let us know you are not coming.
