Healthwise- Volunteers needed to teach basic technology to seniors
Do you know how to send and receive email? Are you comfortable making and joining a video call? Can you do a web search? You are perfect to become a virtual coach, teaching adults 60+ how to use basic technology to connect with family, friends and healthcare providers. This program is free for participants. Next session starting in late January 2024!
Coaches are assigned to 2 participants, with an ultimate goal of participants to also become coaches.
Coaches must be
- good with basic technology: email, video calls, web searches
- able to commit to volunteering 2-4 hours a week
- able to volunteers for 3 months
This is a combined effort with Westminster Canterbury, PrimePlus Senior Centers, and EVMS
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+, Skills: Technology Support
