2nd Annual Autism Bootacular Fall Social
Saturday, November 17th, 2nd Annual Autism Bootacular Fall Social, Autism Society Location, Independence Center, 6300 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA Event Time: 1:30 p.m. to 4pm-Come join us for our 2nd Annual Autism Bootacular Fall Social. Two floors of Fun, Fun, Fun! Families living with Autism will join us as we have candy, snacks, arts, crafts, music, face painting, and more! The 1st Floor will include children 13 and under practicing their social skills by trick or treating and participating in fun games and activities. The 2nd floor will be for those 14 and up where participates can hang out with their typical peers, listen to music, and enjoy age appropriate games, and munch on snacks. Volunteers are asked to show no later than 12:15 p.m. for a briefing and to help decorate and stay until at list 4:30 p.m. for breakdown. NOTE: Volunteers 18 years of age and older will be subject to Criminal Background Check.
Task include the following: • Parking lot Attendants( directing families where to park) • Set-up Break down and decorations • Door greeters and sign in Table • Snack Station • Trick or treat stations • Fame Painters or assist with face paint station • Games Stations • Arts and Crafts • Photography booth section • Peer Buddies for the 2nd floor participants
