Seeking a volunteer that loves details, has a creative side, and can volunteer in our Norfolk office in Ghent , 809 Brandon Ave, Suite 300, Norfolk, VA 23503.
Reports to: Volunteer Program Director 
Hours:  After initial in-office training, this opportunity will require 2 hours/week (or more if desired) at our Norfolk Office. Location: 809 Brandon Ave, Suite 300, Norfolk, VA 23517.  
Preference for volunteer in office is: 	Tuesdays 11am-1pm
						Fridays 11am-1pm  OR
						M-F between 11am & 4pm. Schedule is relatively flexible. 
Description: Volunteer will provide administrative support to the Volunteer Program Director of Tidewater Arts Outreach. Laptop/workstation provided.
Primary Tasks: Assists Volunteer Program Director with office and correspondence tasks including: 
- Update Email newsletter contacts  - Update GiftWorks Database volunteer profiles 
- Program Survey tracking 
- Social Media engagement with volunteers 
- Misc filing and office organizing 
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Products, learn quickly,
  & be tech savvy. 
- Requires excellent spelling and proofreading skills 
Skills, Education and Experience: 
1. Possess a formal higher education and/or professional work experience including office administration, and writing equivalent to a college degree. 
2. Be an organized self-starter with excellent communication skills, comfort with internet research and mastery of Microsoft Office suite software.
