Those with pending cases or a prior conviction in family or juvenile and domestic relations courts, or any crime related to or involving children, are ineligible to volunteer with the Hero Kids Foundation.
IF YOU NEED A COMPLETION LETTER - send an email with your due date, number of hours completed, and last date that you volunteered with us to info@hkfva.org and COMPLETE your necessary hours before requesting a completion letter. All completion letters must be requested AT LEAST a week before your court date, or we cannot guarantee you will receive your letter in time.
Calling all nature-lovers, barnyard besties, and cleaning champions! Our furry friends need your help keeping their cozy “run-ins” (those wee shelters in the fields) clean, safe, and ready for rest.
Join us every Saturday from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM for some fresh air, satisfying work, and maybe a few goat giggles or horse nuzzles. We’re looking for up to four volunteers each week—perfect for friends, coworkers, or solo heroes ready to make a difference!
Bring your gloves, your good vibes, and get ready to scoop, sweep, and smile.
All volunteers under the age of 18 will require a signature by a parent or guardian on the waivers provided on each volunteer's first day in order to volunteer, however, volunteers above the age of 16 do not require on-site supervision by a parent or guardian once the initial waiver is signed.
