📚🏈 Volunteer with REACH, Inc. at the Tri-Campus Tailgate! 🏈📚
REACH, Inc. is thrilled to be part of the Bettie F. Williams Family Engagement Event: Tri-Campus Tailgate! We’ll be setting up our pop-up Big Free Bookstore and sharing free books and resources with families. This fun, community-centered event will include food, giveaways, school resources, and lots of family activities — and we need YOUR help to make it a success!
📅 Date: Thursday, September 25, 2025
⏰ Volunteer Time: 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM (arrive early to help with setup)
📍 Location: Newtown Elementary School (5277 Learning Cir, Virginia Beach, VA 23462)
🌟 Volunteer Duties:

Engage with families and community members while promoting REACH, Inc.’s literacy mission.

Distribute informational flyers and FREE books at our table.

Assist with setup and breakdown of materials.

Help create a welcoming, friendly environment for attendees.
⚡ What to Expect:
Volunteers should be comfortable standing, walking, and light lifting (10–30 lbs). Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
🔑 Requirements:

Open to individuals aged 16 and older (Volunteers 16–17 must have a parent/guardian present).

No background check required. Volunteers must have no misdemeanors related to cash or theft, and no felonies of any nature.

Please Ensure to have the following forms completed prior to your shift:
💼 Recognition and Support:
Service letters are available to volunteers completing a minimum of 5 service hours. Please allow 2–3 business days for REACH staff to prepare service letters.
