Fundraiser at Bingo Palace in Virginia Beach Supporting Literacy
Where: Bingo Palace, 444 South Lynnhaven Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
When: Sundays from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM
WHAT TO EXPECT: Volunteer tasks include handling money, interacting with customers and standing or walking for extended periods of time. Training will be provided on site. There is a designated smoking section in the Bingo Hall that Volunteers will be required to sell for short periods of time.
How to sign-up:
- Select the Date and Shift you would like to attend through the Volunteer Hampton Roads platform. (Please note that we are no longer accepting sign-ups for partial shifts, as it is essential for us to ensure consistent coverage and the best experience for everyone involved.)
- Complete the Requirements:
- Individuals aged 16 and older are welcome (16 - 17 years old must have a parent or legal guardian present).
- Ensure you complete both of the following forms:
Recognition and Community Service Letters: REACH requires a minimum of FIVE (5) combined volunteer hours for service letters. Same day requests are not permitted, please allow 2-3 business days for letter preparation.
