Signs of Strength
Dates: 6/12/2019 - 6/15/2019
Signs of Strength is a campaign created to demonstrate the strength and support the community has shown in response to the Virginia Beach Municipal Shooting. 12 blank banners will be posted at businesses and community spaces throughout Hampton Roads for the public to sign and send their messages of hope, hurt, healing, and strength to the victims and survivors of the shooting. After the completion of the project VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads will gift the signs to the City of Virginia Beach. Local businesses will host a sign between Wednesday, June 12 and Saturday, June 15.
Volunteers are needed to cover 2-hour shifts at the following sites, sign up through the links below.
