Join Us for Another Growing Season at the Urban Farm in Newport News, VA!
Come be a part of something meaningful, hands-on, and community-driven as we kick off another exciting growing season at the urban farm in Newport News, Virginia. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us bring the farm to life all season long.
Whether you love being outdoors, enjoy working with your hands, want to learn more about growing food, or simply want to make a difference in the community, there’s a place for you here. Volunteers will assist with a variety of important tasks throughout the season, including setting up for the on-site farmers market, harvesting fresh produce, planting, weeding, laying drip irrigation, and organizing the growing area.
Every helping hand makes an impact. Your time and energy help us grow healthy food, create beautiful spaces, support local access to fresh produce, and strengthen our community one day at a time.
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to serve, learn, and grow with us. Bring your family, invite a friend, and join us as we work together to make this growing season our best one yet.
