Ambassadors for Olde Towne Portsmouth
The High Street Street Team is a volunteer ambassador program dedicated to creating a welcoming, vibrant, and connected experience in Olde Towne Portsmouth. As the friendly faces of our downtown, Street Team members help visitors discover all that High Street has to offer while supporting local businesses, community events, and Main Street revitalization efforts.
Street Team Ambassadors serve as guides, greeters, and community champions. Whether assisting at festivals, sharing information about local shops and restaurants, helping visitors navigate downtown, or simply offering a warm welcome, ambassadors play an important role in showcasing the energy and hospitality that make Olde Towne special.

High Street Street Team members are enthusiastic individuals who:

The High Street Street Team exists to put hospitality into action—connecting people to places, supporting local businesses, and helping ensure that every visit to Olde Towne Portsmouth leaves a lasting impression. Because when visitors feel welcomed, businesses thrive, community grows, and High Street Happens.
Next Info Session
The Portsmouth Main Street is an initiative of Main Street America. This work began a little over a year ago with the aim of fueling investment into the Olde Town corridor. We welcome you for an info session to learn more about this work, how YOU can get involved, and to learn more about our new High Street Street Team volunteer opportunities. We will be meeing on Monday, August 31st from 6-7pm at Bloom Coworking.
