Volunteer Needed in Clothes Closet
Join the dedicated volunteers who help organize our clothing closet, a special resource for the community that we serve in Portsmouth, VA. The Wesley Community Service Center’s clothing closet is a boutique-style room filled with women’s and children’s clothing, accessories, and supplies provided by in-kind donations.
Volunteers sort clothes, pair outfits, inventory items, and keep the closet organized and tidy for families to shop.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Willingness to ‘jump right in’ to organize mountains of clothing, coats, and accessories
- Ability to work independently
- Clothing closet orientation and training provided on the first day
- Check-ins as needed with the front desk staff
